Boca Juniors demands three million debt from Porto

Porto’s €3 million debt to Boca Juniors threatens the signing of Eka (Ezequiel) Fernandez, the Argentine press reported on Wednesday.

We are talking about the payment of the amount of three million euros already due two months ago as part of the transfer of Alan Varela from the Argentine club to the Dragons. This debt is holding up the deal for 21-year-old midfielder Eka Fernandez. Boca Juniors are also threatening to file a complaint with FIFA. “In the current situation, Equi cannot move to Porto,” a club source told TyC Sports.

The debt, which was due to be repaid in March, still belongs to the management of Pinto da Costa’s previous management.

Interestingly, Alan Varela visited his former Boca Juniors teammates on Wednesday and sat at Eka Fernandez’s table, leading the local press to speculate that this was an attempt by Porto to convince the youngster to push for his departure to Portugal.

Jorge Sanchez leaves the Dragons
Defender Jorge Sanchez, whom Sergio Conceicao removed from Porto’s squad, has arranged everything with Cruz Azul from Mexico, where he arrives on loan.
