In a brutal crime reminiscent of the executions carried out by the Mafia decades ago against rivals or authorities in barbershops, a 28-year-old man was shot six times in the head while sitting in the chair of a barber shop where he went for a haircut and shave in the city of Uberlandia, in the interior of the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais. According to people who knew both the shooter and the victim, the crime was passionate, motivated by an alleged betrayal by the perpetrator’s wife.
The shooter stopped his motorcycle next to the barber shop, entered the establishment, still wearing his helmet, and without saying a word, shot the victim six times in the head at very close range. The crime took place in broad daylight in the establishment in the Laranjeiras district, where at the time, in addition to the victim, there were several other customers and several barbers.
After shooting at his alleged rival, the shooter took his time, got on a motorcycle and disappeared. Everyone in the barber shop was shocked by the cruelty of the execution, no one could do anything to prevent the death of the victim, and the fear was so great that the barber who cut his hair remained standing in place without even moving. completely shocked.
According to residents of the region, the shooter wanted to take revenge on the victim, who contacted his wife while he was in prison. After leaving prison and learning about the alleged betrayal, the criminal began to stalk the man, who took advantage of the fact that he was behind bars to gain the trust of his wife, and before the murder, the attacker had already beaten his rival twice and threatened to kill him, which he now did.
