Former US President Bill Clinton joined his wife and former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton on Sunday to endorse Kamala Harris’ Democratic nomination for this year’s election following the announcement of Joe Biden’s withdrawal.
“We are honored to join the President [Joe Biden] on the recommendation of Vice President Kamala Harris [como candidata democrata] and we will do everything in our power to support her,” the Clintons said in a statement.
“We have seen many ups and downs, but nothing makes us more concerned about our country than the possibility of being re-elected for a second term. [de Donald] Trump,” the Republican nominee, the Clintons say, making Bill Clinton the first former Democratic president to endorse Harris for the White House.
