Winds in the Santa Cruz area are hampering landings and takeoffs at Cristiano Ronaldo Madeira International Airport: six planes of different origins separated after 16:00.
According to the ANA-Aeroportos de Portugal page, this meteorological situation affected an Easyjet flight from Lisbon, a Tuifly flight from Frankfurt, Munich and Dusseldorf, an Easyjet Switzerland flight from Basel and a Ryanair flight from Lisbon.
From 16:00, taking advantage of the “open” opportunity, at 17:04 only one Easyjet Europa aircraft landed in Berlin, while the departures of the corresponding aircraft were limited.
The same information states that the Easyjet flight departing from Lisbon and arriving at 20:35 has been cancelled.
