Singer Taylor Swift took to Instagram on Tuesday to respond to the stabbing that left two children dead in Southport, near Liverpool, England. Several children took part in the yoga and dance master class relating to the singer.
The singer says she is “completely shocked” by Monday night’s tragedy. “The loss of lies and innocence and the terrible trauma that is affecting everyone who was there, the families and first responders,” it reads. “They were just kids in a dance class,” he adds.
Taylor Swift says she still doesn’t know how to express solidarity with people.
The suspect, a 17-year-old minor, was detained and the knife was seized. Eleven people were injured.
