The Disciplinary Council (CD) of the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) has sent to the Public Prosecutor’s Office (MP) the sentence against Boavista president Vitor Murta for sexual harassment of a SAD employee from the First League club.
A source connected to the process confirmed this Friday to the Lusa agency that the complaint was forwarded to the judicial authorities by the federal disciplinary body, a few hours after the “checkered” leader denied the accusations, confirming that he had already appealed the sentence.
According to the ruling published today by CD FPF, Vitor Murta, who is currently only the chairman of the Bessa club, was punished with a six-month suspension and a fine of 2,448 euros for “discriminatory behavior” following a disciplinary process that began on October 3. In 2023, he was still the head of SAD do Boavista, which he left in May.
