President of the Republic Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa said this Friday that the housing measures announced by the government on Thursday are in line with the “needs of all Portuguese”.
“Need to know if there’s a machine to put them on their feet [Governo e autarquias]”and “if the bank is sensitive to certain changes it has to make,” he added.
As for the demonstrations of teachers and the negotiations that are underway with the government, the President of the Republic believes that a solution is on the way, which “covers a very large number of problems.” [de toda a comunidade docente] and give a sign of hope.
Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa took advantage of his visit to the opening of morality in Podense, in Macedo de Cavaleiros, to answer questions from journalists related to current events in the country.
