Isabella Crawford, a 20-year-old British woman, says she nearly died after having multiple cosmetic surgeries in Turkey and contracting a flesh-eating bacterial infection, necrotising fasciitis. Daily mail.
Isabella contacted a popular plastic surgeon who recommended a “mommy makeover,” which included a tummy tuck, breast lift, buttock lift, and liposuction. Despite the fact that the young woman had no children, she accepted the specialist’s recommendation.
“I told myself that he knew what he was doing. I was very naive and trusted him,” the young woman said, quoted by the publication. Daily mail.
Isabella was given a general anesthetic at 9am and woke up early in the night. When he woke up, he had several wounds and sacs on his body that were filling with blood.
“It was black and blue,” he said, adding that it was like “an experiment to see how far you could push the body.”
According to the same source, he flew back to the UK a few days later, but spent most of the time in the bathroom due to blood gushing from open wounds on his body.
“I thought, ‘I’m going to die on this flight,'” Isabella Crawford said.
When she returned home, Isabella’s mother, who thought she had gone on a trip with friends, took her to the hospital where she was treated for a rare flesh-eating bacteria.
The 20-year-old admits she regrets it and explains that she had the surgery to feel more beautiful and also because she was influenced by numerous online advertisements for cosmetic surgery abroad.
“Please don’t fall for it. There’s more to life than just being pretty,” Isabella said.
