The event will take place in Westminster Abbey and will consist of three days of celebrations. The coronation ceremony, which will take place on Saturday, May 6, will be held by Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby. On Sunday there will be a big dinner and a coronation concert. On Monday, it will be declared a national holiday.
The revelation of the invitation made to Prince Harry and Meghan comes after relations between the royal family and the couple have become strained in recent years. Harry’s revelations in his memoir Spare also further deepened the conflict when the prince revealed details of a fight with his brother.
