The Lusa branch of the Caixa Geral de Depósitos (CGD) was robbed at gunpoint this Wednesday, a source from the GNR Territorial Command in Coimbra told Lusa.
According to him, the armed robbery took place around 12:00, and it is believed that two men were involved in the crime.
According to the same source, no arrests have been made so far, as PPR patrols were at the scene.
He added that during the theft that took place in this CGD office, in the center of Luza (Coimbra region), no injuries were recorded.
CGD Luzao has five to six employees. Nobody was hospitalized.
According to a source from the Coimbra GNR, the situation is now in the hands of the directorate of the PJ Center.
The suspects may be on the run.
