PJ arrests author of Almada Forum shooting. He is suspected of attempted murder

The judicial police detained a man suspected of committing two crimes of qualified murder in the form of an attempt on a man and a woman outside the crime scene. The events took place this Saturday, around 22:00, at the Almada Forum.

According to the SP statement, “the suspect shot two victims, simply without hitting them on facts beyond their control,” but ended up hitting a five-year-old child in the knee.

The PSP managed to apprehend the suspect at the scene. “Nevertheless, a set of evidentiary elements has been assembled that provide strong evidence that the suspect used the facts in practice,” they report.

The detainee will be present this Monday at the Almada County Judicial Court.
