After being diagnosed by doctors at the Sirio Libanes hospital in Brasilia, Lula remained at his official residence, the Palacio da Alvorada, with orders to rest. Lula, who was advised to be treated with oral antibiotics, decided to administer the medication intravenously, believing it would speed up his recovery, but it didn’t work, and, even with a medical prescription to rest, he received several ministers on Friday afternoon. and Congressional representatives attempting to resolve or leave important matters ahead of a trip that could have jeopardized his full recovery.
