A group of 178 people, all named Hirokazu Tanaka, gathered this Saturday in Tokyo, Japan and broke the 2005 record.
The old record was held by 164 people named Martha Stewarts.
Hirokazu Tanaka, 53, created the Tanaka Hirokazu group to try and unite everyone with the same name.
There were also those who specially came from Vietnam for the meeting. All participants had to wear T-shirts with the same name and spelling.and in accordance with the rules Guinness World Record.
The group of 178 Hirokazu Tanaka included a child and an 80-year-old man.
