A vocal supporter of Donald Trump, Marjorie Taylor Green, will lead a pro-Trump protest in a park near the Manhattan courthouse where the former US president is being heard on Tuesday. The information is distributed by Reuters.
Security has been stepped up at some specific New York City locations, such as Trump Tower, due to the potential for these protests to intensify. In the afternoon, hundreds of Republican supporters took to the streets because of the allegations. Shouts and whistles were heard, as well as numerous posters in support of the former political leader.
“It seems so surreal. I can’t believe this is happening in America,” Trump said.
During his trip to court, Trump took to his Truth Social to say that he still doesn’t believe he’s going to be arrested.
“On the way to court. It seems so surreal. I can’t believe this is happening in America,” the Republican wrote. The publication was accompanied by the acronym MAGA (Lets Make America Great Again), which means “Let’s Make America Great Again” in Portuguese.
