Six aircraft and more than a hundred firefighters fought the blaze that had been raging since morning in the municipality of Guarda this afternoon, the National Emergency and Civil Protection Authority (ANEPC) said.
According to the ANEPC website, at 4:40 p.m., 110 people fought the fire, supported by 29 vehicles and six aircraft.
A fire that broke out around 11:00 am in the city of Misarela forced a reinforcement of funds in the last hours.
According to a source from the sub-regional command of Beiras and Serra da Estrela, around 2:30 pm, there were 85 people in the theater of operations, supported by 24 vehicles from various fire departments and four aircraft.
