French basketball player Rudy Gobert attacked fellow Minnesota Timberwolves Kyle Anderson this Sunday during a game against the New Orleans Pelicans and was pulled from the match by his own team.
The French Pole was taken to the locker room by the Wolves after he was punched in the chest by Anderson during a timeout in a North American Basketball League (NBA) game.
The Minneapolis formation ended their season against the Pelicans in a playoff game for their position in the “playable game”.
The quarrel between the two had no physical consequences for Anderson, but caused a reaction from the bench and the separation of the players’ games: Gobert was sent to the dressing room by his own team, who later realized that the Frenchman would not return to the game.
