The Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine handed over a letter to the Indian authorities, in which Kyiv asks for additional humanitarian assistance to eliminate the consequences of the Russian invasion.
Emine Dzhaparova, who completed on Wednesday the first high-level visit of the Ukrainian government to India since the beginning of the war, “delivered a letter from the President [ucraniano Volodymyr] Zelensky to the Prime Minister, [indiano Narendra] Modi,” the Indian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
“He also shared Ukraine’s request for humanitarian assistance, including medicines and medical equipment,” the same note said during a meeting with India’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Culture, Meenakshi Lekhi.
