Savannah Marshall’s undisputed world title fight with Claressa Shields has been postponed.

Marshall and Shields were scheduled to perform in London on Saturday night, but the all-female show was canceled after the Queen’s death on Thursday.

The battle will take place on October 15.

A statement from the British Boxing Board of Control said: “The British Boxing Board of Control has decided to postpone all tournaments this weekend in honor of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

“We join the nation in mourning and paying tribute to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, in honor of her devotion to our country during her long reign and the legacy she left.”

Promoter Ben Charo said in a statement: “This is an unprecedented moment in our history and we send our hearts to the royal family and country first and foremost.” The British Boxing Board of Control decided to postpone Saturday’s show.

“The tentative date for Saturday 15th October at The O2 is being worked on by all parties to make this unique and iconic night a more appropriate time for women’s sport.
