Saudi Arabia has declared this Wednesday a national holiday, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud announced on his Twitter page on Tuesday.
The decision was made after the victory historical against Argentina, in the first round of the World Cup in Qatar, 2-1.
The proposal was made by the country’s crown prince Mohammed bin Salman and later approved by the king. All employees of the public and private sectors, as well as students, will have the right to enjoy the holiday.
