The All-Russian Cosmonautics and Aviation Forum began in St. Petersburg

On November 30, the All-Russian Cosmonautics and Aviation Forum “Cosmostart” opened in St. Petersburg, TASS reports.

The opening of the eighth All-Russian cosmonautics and aviation forum “Cosmostart” took place at the State University of Aerospace Instrumentation (SUAI) in St. Petersburg. After the grand opening, direct communication with the ISS was organized.

The main event at the opening of the forum was the dialogue “Heroes are not born, heroes are made” with the participation of test cosmonaut Pyotr Dubrov and pilot-cosmonaut Sergei Kud-Sverchkov.

The rector of the university, Yulia Antokhina, said that for three school days and students will be able to attend thematic events dedicated to space.

The forum will host a round table “Advanced computer and shipboard networks” with the participation of representatives of the state corporation Roscosmos, the Geoscan company and the Russian public organization “Russian Cosmonautics Federation.” Conferences, master classes, missions and an excursion to the Museum of Cosmonautics are also planned.

The university rector noted that the forum events will be “bright, cosmic and interesting”It will be considered “issues of manned astronautics”and “issues related to unmanned systems that use elements of artificial intelligence”.

According to the organizers, the All-Russian Cosmonautics and Aviation Forum, which is a platform for advanced projects and developments in the space field, will be visited by more than 1.5 thousand students and schoolchildren from St. Petersburg, Leningrad region and Veliky Novgorod. , Kazan, Zheleznogorsk, Krasnodar Territory and other cities and regions of Russia.
