The Spanish Prime Minister announced a new housing support measure that will finance up to 20% of a home loan requested by persons under 35 and families with dependent minors who purchase their first home, promotes El Pais. According to Pedro Sánchez, the state credit line applies to everyone with an annual income of less than 37,800 euros.
The goal of the Spanish government is to support those who cannot contribute the 20% required to apply for a mortgage, as banks usually only lend 80% of the value of a house.
