Since the start of the fire, 42 people have been treated by medical teams on the spot, 9 people have been taken to hospital departments, no serious situations have been registered.
The fire destroyed at least two houses, one as the first house in Vale Juncale, in São Teotoniou, in the municipality of Odemira, and the other, which will be a holiday home, in the Boavista area, in Odeseix, in the municipality of Aljezur. .
The blaze also destroyed a rural tourism facility, also at Veil Hunkal, whose owners complained about the lack of help from firefighters.
