Amadora BD restores classics and releases new features

This year, Amadora BD is once again occupying the site of the former ski and skate park in Amadora, which will house a central exhibition center, commercial and presentation areas, and a games area. There will also be exhibitions at the municipal gallery of Arthur Buala and Bedetek da Amador. The commercial space will house 14 publishing houses – exactly the same number as there were in 2022, but, according to the organization, several editorial projects have been ignored, which indicates the growth of this market segment in our country. The event, organized by the Amadora Chamber, will end on the 29th and expects between 15 and 20 thousand visitors.

PRIZES
Amadora BD will award prizes to the best books published in Portugal in recent months. The winners will be announced on the 22nd.

In addition to the central core, the program includes exhibitions by Martha Theiwes and Andre Letria (Galeria Artur Bual), as well as another one dedicated to the 75th anniversary. Tex Wheeler (Bedeteka).
