Poll puts Trump ahead of Biden in five key states

A year before the US presidential election, a poll published this Sunday by the New York Times puts potential Republican nominee Donald Trump ahead of President Joe Biden in five of six key states.

According to a New York Times/Siena College poll, the former Republican president dominates voter intentions in Nevada (52% to Joe Biden’s 41%), Georgia (49%/43%), Arizona (49%/44%), Michigan ( 48%/43%) and Pennsylvania (48%/44%), and Joe Biden will win Wisconsin (47%/45%), states he won in 2020.

The poll was conducted by telephone between Oct. 22 and Nov. 3 with 3,662 registered voters in six states, and the results should have a margin of error of 4.4 to 4.8 points, depending on the state.
