Due to the rise of the Sorraia River, circus cars and caravans sank in Corush.

Five people from the circus troupe were forced to leave their homes this Friday and will be received at the Koryusha sports pavilion after rising water levels in the Sorraia River caused it to overflow its banks in some places, as is happening in the coastal region of Koryusha . .

The rise in water level on the left bank of the river, which is “considered a flood zone,” came as a surprise to those responsible for the circus troupe, said a source in the Koryush Municipal Civil Protection Service, which is monitoring the situation.

“The sudden rise in water caused the flooding of three vehicles and four trailers, while five people from the circus were displaced and will be taken to the sports pavilion by municipal services,” explained the deputy head of the National Emergency Management and Civil Protection Directorate of Leziriya. Tejo.

The case is being monitored “and there are no homes, businesses or industries at risk in the region at this time.”

The exhibition tent, as well as the company’s animals, are located in an area above and above the floodplain and are therefore not at risk.

A warning about rising water levels on the left bank sounded at 13:11.

A dozen operatives from the Koryush fire service and the municipal civil protection service were mobilized.
