The President of Angola said that there is freedom of the press in Angola

In an overview of his two-day visit to the province of Huambo, published this Sunday on the page of the presidential press center, João Lourenço, responding to a question about interference in the work of journalists, noted that Angolan journalism “is growing and corresponding to the role that belongs to him.”

“During the time of the unified party, the journalism practiced at that time was very different from what is practiced today. Today there is freedom of the press, not only does the state own media companies; The private sector is also involved. niche market,” he said.
