Carlos Alberto Moniz will conduct a tour in honor of his 55th anniversary of creative life, combined with concerts in honor of the 50th anniversary on April 25 in various formats: with a jazz trio, with guests and solo.
Set against the backdrop of the sea, the Azores, poetry and the Portuguese language, the concert “55 Years of Viradas Memories for the Future” invites viewers to travel between the references and musical complexities that Carlos Alberto Moniz has experienced over the decades. On stage, the host of the program “Língua Mãe” (CMTV) will be accompanied by Gabriel Pinto (piano), Hugo Carvalhaes (double bass) and João Martins (drums), a trio from Porto. Guests include Pedro Branco, son of singer and composer José Mario Branco, and guitarist Silvestre Fonseca.
