Registration for the National Higher Education Access Examinations, aimed at secondary school students, begins this Monday and ends on March 8, with registration taking place on an electronic platform.
“Students in the 11th and 12th years who wish to take the national final examinations solely as an entrance test for access to higher education” must register between 26 February and 8 March in accordance with Regulatory Order No. 4/2024.
The diploma provides registration dates for all types of situations, from students who decide to cancel a course to those who want to improve their grade or take a test in a subject they have never studied.
Registration for tests is carried out by families on the Platform for Electronic Registration of Tests and Examinations (PIEPE), which is available at https://jnepiepe.dge.mec.pt, and is then verified by the school administration.
The Diploma also sets out the rules for other external assessments: 2nd, 5th and 8th year students who will be taking assessment tests do not need to register unless they are attending private or home study.
Also for students who are going to take the equivalent tests in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd cycles, final examinations and school tests in the 3rd cycle of basic education, registration is automatic for almost everyone.
