Facebook unblocked Chega’s account on Thursday evening, announcing it would be blocked for two days, prompting outrage from the party leader.
“It was an unacceptable situation to have an account blocked in the last two days of the campaign,” he said. CM Andre Ventura.
“We filed a complaint and they eventually unblocked the account,” he added. However, Andre Ventura’s account remained inactive.
“They unblocked Chegu, but mine is blocked until the elections,” he said.
The justification given by Mark Zuckerberg’s social network was the same one that led to the blocking of the party’s account. “Your posts or messages violate our Community Standards.”
Ventura has more than 300 thousand followers on Facebook. “This is one of our most important tools,” the party leader emphasizes.
