A 22-year-old young man was detained by the Judicial Police (PJ) at the scene of the crime, accused of committing crimes of sexual violence and pornography against minors in Walongo. The suspect, who lured victims through social media chats, had in his possession digital content in which he could be seen performing offensive sexual acts on victims under the age of 14.
The legal representatives of the minor filed a complaint, following which the authorities began an investigation, the SP said in a statement.
The detainee encouraged the young man to provide content of an intimate/sexual nature and also encouraged him to attend meetings of this nature.
“Once the facts were reported, the suspect was initially identified and subsequently arrested. As a result of this operation, various telecommunications and computer equipment containing such content were seized,” the statement said. .
