Four men, aged between 21 and 25, were injured near the Egas Moniz University Institute in Monte da Caparica. Drunk young university students turned up at the N festivala night of serenades that included tunas from several universities when they became embroiled in a standoff.
The fire departments of Trafaria and Casillas, as well as an ambulance and intensive care unit from the García de Orta Hospital, were mobilized to the scene. Two victims, one with a back injury and the other with a neck injury, were taken to hospital.
According to a source at the Trafaria fire department, despite the equipment, the injuries suffered by the victims were minor.
One of the victims was struck in the thigh and went to the hospital to receive medical attention.
The reason that led to the feud is unknown.
An assault with a sharp weapon alarm was raised around 3am this Saturday. GNR was notified and took responsibility for the incident. TO CMAn official source clarified that no arrests have been made.
