Members of the Portuguese Evangelical College, in the presence of Brazilian federal deputy Marco Feliciano and Bolsonaro supporter, visited the Assembly of the Republic this Friday and met with Gonçalo da Camara Pereira (President of the PPM, who was part of the AD). “This was a courtesy visit to the government to show that we are ready to help. We want to be a party with representation in the Assembly and our goal is to ensure that the Bible is used in Parliament to help politicians make wise decisions,” said CM Paulo Nunes, coordinator of the Portuguese Evangelica Bench. The official assured that the party no longer identifies itself and “breaks ties” with the National Democratic Alternative (NAD) because “it opposes gender ideology, LGBT movements and abortion.” “The Word of God is governed by humanity. Enough of what we watch every day. We want change, we want everyone to live according to the word of God, and only with our entry into parliament this will happen,” explained Paulo Nunez.
