RTP accounts for 2023 are closed. The public broadcaster ended the year with a positive net profit of 2.5 million euros (an increase of 1.7 million compared to 2022). RTP has recorded profits for the 14th year in a row.
According to the administration, and also taking into account the report of the Workers’ Committee, which reproduces statements made at a meeting between this body and the board of directors to which the CM had access, these positive results were facilitated by “an increase of 5 million from the CAV [taxa audiovisual paga pelos consumidores na fatura da eletricidade]increased business revenues, additional revenue from World Youth Day and several procurement and process efficiencies that have contributed to achieving significant savings.”
