Venezuela is building combat drones with the help of allied countries such as Russia, China and Iran, President Nicolas Maduro said during a parade marking Venezuela’s Armed Forces Day.
“We have shown everything that can be shown, but we know and know well the exceptional capabilities that we have created to fight in modern times. There are heavy weapons, aviation, air defense, medium- and long-range missile defense. “And we have our secret weapon, armed men, the Bolivarian National Militia and its four million fighters,” he said in Caracas on Friday.
During the intervention, Nicolás Maduro congratulated the army, navy, air force, Bolivarian National Guard and militia and recalled that 213 years ago a declaration was signed that made Venezuela and Venezuelans “irrevocably free and sovereign from any colonial empire.”
