Multimillionaire Elon Musk left the Cascais Municipal Aerodrome in Tires this Saturday, heading to Porto, where he made an hour-long stop for fuel before heading back to Austin, Texas, USA.
The businessman, who owns Tesla, SpaceX and the social network X (formerly Twitter), arrived in Cascais on Friday after a trip from Austin that lasted just over eight hours.
Musk’s program in the Portuguese capital, where he traveled with his children, was not disclosed.
The trip is on a 22-seat twin-engine Gulfstream, one of several aircraft owned by the businessman. During the flight between Austin and Cascais, the multimillionaire spent more than 21,000 euros on fuel and emitted 43 tons of carbon dioxide (C02) into the atmosphere.
