Russian military observer Vladlen Tatarsky, died this Sunday in an explosion at a cafe in St. Petersburg, Russia, according to Reuters.
The Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs has already confirmed the death of a soldier and reported 16 wounded. Tatarsky, whose real name is Maksim Fomin, had over 560,000 Telegram followers and was a major military digital authority. He regularly commented on Russia’s war in Ukraine.
The cafe that was attacked belonged to Evgeny Prigozhinao, founder of the Russian paramilitary militia, the Wagner group. Russian news agency RIA indicates that the bomb that killed Vladlen Tatarsky was hidden in a statue donated to the military.
