This Saturday, the Portuguese Navy rescued a 29-year-old man after he suffered a seizure on board a cruise ship. The request for help was made around 3:30 pm this Friday, when the ship was about 691 km southwest of Cape San Vicente.
According to the Navy, after receiving the notification, a health assessment of the passenger was carried out. The situation was considered non-urgent, so the rescue took place on Saturday afternoon.
“This afternoon, the ship approached the city of Cascais and the SR-27 lifeboat was activated, which delivered a passenger to land, who was then taken to the hospital department,” the communiqué says.
A young Bosnian man was on the MEIN SCHIFF 3 cruise.
