This Friday, Andre Ventura demanded the immediate resignation of Joao Galamba. Chega’s president said he had information that António Costa was already “trying to find successors” for the post of infrastructure minister.
Speaking before the Assembly of the Republic, André Ventura said that “it is in the interest of the prime minister not to have a government with a toxic environment” and that “João Galamba is a toxic asset” so he should be removed.
Ventura stated that “all the lies associated with the use and recourse to SIS show that it is necessary to investigate all government structures by the PS.”
The chairman of the party also stated that a “network of disinformation” had been set up and believed that “a deeper investigation into the use of these institutions is needed.”
