The General Policy Debate in Parliament with Prime Minister António Costa, originally scheduled for May 31, has been rescheduled for a week and will take place on Wednesday.
The information appears on the official agenda of the Assembly of the Republic, indicating that a general policy debate involving the government is scheduled for Wednesday (May 24) at 3:00 pm.
According to an official source in the office of Deputy Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Ana Catarina Mendez, the wait is due to “reasons on the prime minister’s agenda.”
On May 10, a conference of parliamentary leaders scheduled this debate for the 31st.
The previous general policy debate with the Prime Minister in Parliament, which takes place every two months, took place on 22 March.
