This Thursday morning, a body was found in the River Tahoe in a badly decomposed state. The alarm was raised at 8:00 am and resulted in the mobilization of the Maritime Authority’s funds in the Mar da Paglia area, next to the Parque das Nacoins, in Lisbon.
According to an official source from the captaincy of the port of Lisbon, the body belongs to a man, but it is not yet possible to determine the identity or approximate age due to decomposition. The origin of the corpse is also unknown, but the same source admitted that it could be the corpse of a man who went missing in Casillas 11 days ago.
The body has already been removed and will be taken to the National Institute of Forensic Medicine for autopsy and identification. The case will be transferred to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
