Authorities spent three days this week searching the Arade dam in Silves.
The authorities carried out searches on land and in water, cut down trees for excavations in the ground. The police were looking for bumps in the ground, looking for remains or something related to Maddie.
British authorities also took part in the searches carried out by the judicial police at the request of the German authorities. Civil protection, firefighters and the GNR also assisted in this.
The traces found will be analyzed in Germany, the country that requested the operation.
