A 62-year-old man has been charged with the brutal murder of his wife on Thanksgiving Day in the U.S. state of New Mexico. When they arrived at the house, police found the victim, dismembered and covered in blood, on the floor of the bedroom, and the man, suffering from dementia, was lying in bed.
Family members were invited to dine with the couple, but as soon as they arrived and no one answered the door, they knew something was wrong. After breaking down the door, they saw the crime scene and immediately called 911 (112 in Portugal) to report the murder.
According to an American newspaper new york post officeprior to this, the man’s brother had already contacted 911 because he was concerned that the couple was not opening the door.
When they discovered the crime, a member of the killer’s family called 911 and reported that the man had killed the woman.
When the police arrived and found the victim’s body, they apprehended the assailant. The man had cuts on his neck and leg, so he is in the hospital recovering from his injuries, the police explained. new york post office🇧🇷
One of the couple’s neighbors told an American newspaper that he was shocked by what happened, because both always seemed to be good friends and peaceful people.
