The trial of the network of drug traffickers in the framework of the operation “Cemente em Pó”, whose defendant “Vito” took place this Wednesday in Bragança.
Vitor Soares has already denied all the facts attributed to him by the prosecution, at a meeting on Monday. Accused of participating in a drug trafficking network, the accused says it’s a lie and guarantees that he only uses cocaine. Recall that 30 grams of this drug was found in his house.
The Bragança Court began this Wednesday to hear several prosecution witnesses listed by the MP. A total of 80 consumers were caught during GNR’s eavesdropping and surveillance throughout the investigation.

The trial session has ended. It will resume next Monday.
Olive oil was the code for drugs
Two witnesses already heard in the trial testify that “olive oil” was Amilcar Teixeira’s code for the drug. “One day he called me and said that he had good olive oil. I realized that he meant hashish,” said João Neves, who says he never actually bought olive oil from Amilcar.
The proposed supply of olive oil was already mentioned by Vito at the first meeting. He guaranteed that when Amilcar went to Porto, he would give him a five-litre jug.
Big Brother contestant’s father ‘sold drugs in cafes’
Another witness, heard this Wednesday morning, admitted to buying drugs from Amilcar Teixeira, another accused and father of Edmar, a former Big Brother member. “I bought hashish from Mr. Teixeira. I don’t know the days, I don’t remember. He sold it at a cafe he owned. We went to the bathroom, he left the drug in the bathroom,” Anibal said.
Vito and Amilcar met at a Big Brother gala and later formed a trusting relationship over time.
Witness claims Big Brother contestant’s father sold drugs to him
Now it’s the court’s turn to hear Joao Fernandes, another witness caught listening.
He replaced the prosecutor who bought the drugs from Amilcar Teixeira. “I asked him to get me hashish, I knew he was a consumer, but I never heard that he was a dealer. He got me out of trouble a few times,” João said, noting that Amilcar once gave him enough for “seven or eight cigars.” Usually they pay 10 euros.
João also explained that “these transactions happened half a dozen times, no more.” Once he was caught by the GNR. “In a cafe, Amilcar gave me a napkin with cannabis leaves. Later, on the street, I was approached by GNR,” he said.
“Vito” with the support of the partner’s family
Sonya Jesus is not present at the trial because she cannot be present in the courtroom as a witness. However, Vito is supported in the room by his brothers, his mother, and his partner’s parents.
Witness Says He Interrogated Big Brother Contestant’s Father About Selling Drugs
The court is currently hearing Marcio Morais, another witness who was caught wiretapping. A conversation was intercepted with Amilcar Teixeira, another accused and father of Edmar, also another member of Big Brother.
“I called Amilcar because a friend wanted me to ask him if he had any hashish,” said a witness who denied knowing Amilcar was selling drugs.
“He was already seen smoking and my friend thought he could fix it (…) by chance later I found him in the city and Amilcar said he couldn’t fix it and didn’t do it,” Marcio added.
Vito’s friend denies any drug purchases
A witness for the prosecution, a friend of Vito, faced with wiretapping that raises suspicion of drug dealing, denies any purchase of Vitor Soares.
“I just called to talk, talked to him, went to his house and cafe. I am a hashish consumer,” the witness said, noting that he even smoked hashish with the defendant.
When asked by the prosecutor about who bought hashish when they smoked together, Vito’s friend said that Vito never gave him anything or sold it. “He had his and I had mine,” he said.
A second witness was heard, Nuno Miguel, who made a transfer via Mbway to Vito. “The transfer happened because he got me some parts for my van that had a problem. I did it for Mbway,” he explained.
The prosecutor then interrogated this friend “Vito” about the various businesses owned by partner Sonia de Jesus. “Do you know if he bought or sold olive oil?” the prosecutor asked.
The witness said nothing about this deal. “All I know is that they were selling cosmetics and stuff like that. They were sold by his partner, she is known on television,” added Nuno.
