Presidents may have to submit a declaration of interests and assets

The government can oblige the chairmen of the 24 professional orders to submit to the Constitutional Court a single declaration on their income, property, interests and incompatibilities, as is the case with persons holding political office.

The news was spread by the newspaper Público, which also recalls that Bloco de Esquerda, the Liberal Initiative, Livre and PCP have already defended the use of such a measure, since presidents should be guided by their actions in accordance with the public interest.

This is one of the measures of the bill that has been submitted to Parliament, which proposes other changes to the bylaws, such as the creation of a client ombudsman, the creation of a supervisory board, and the obligation to pay 25% higher internship fees. the national minimum wage (which currently corresponds to 950 euros).
