A 71-year-old man was arrested in the Brazilian city of Dourados, in the interior of the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, on charges of raping all of his daughters and impregnating one of them, 16, and her granddaughter. 12 years old, as a result of the rape of the eldest daughter.
According to investigators, the elderly man is the grandfather and father of a 12-year-old child and the father and great-grandfather of the future baby.
According to a complaint filed with the Juvenile Guardianship Board by the Specialized Women’s Assistance Police, the man had a habit of raping all of his daughters and was the father of a four-year-old boy who had a 16-year-old daughter. According to the complaint, he is the father and grandfather of his grandchildren, a four-year-old boy and a 12-year-old girl who is nine months pregnant.
The situation was not new in the place where the elderly man lived with his family, but it became public and came to the attention of the authorities after the elderly man raped another daughter, who is only nine years old.
Initially, when the crime was solved, a neighbor was identified as the main suspect, but later it turned out that the real rapist was the girl’s elderly father, who had already committed the same crime with other daughters and granddaughter. The police proceeded to arrest him.
The defendant’s own family gave the police details of sexual crimes that the elderly man had been committing for a long time and which they never reported due to fear. All of the victims have been sent to Dorados University Hospital to undergo DNA tests that will confirm or disprove the allegations, and the same will be done with the 12-year-old girl’s baby when it is born.
