The Secretary General of the PCP said in Faro on Tuesday that the sacrifices demanded in recent years by the crisis, pandemic and war in Ukraine always go to the vast majority, while a small minority enjoys the benefits, opportunities and profits.
“In this moment of deep contradictions in which we live, in this moment when illusion, when advertising collides with everyday reality, with the hard life of each of us, we already know and even anticipate the ever-existing excuses that, as always, the bills are falling various events,” said Paulo Raimundo.
Speaking at a dinner/rally in the Algarve capital, the communist leader cited the crisis, the covid-19 pandemic and the war as causes “that do not explain the absolute truth.”
“In every drama and in every one of these events, there is always a huge majority on which the required victims fall. And there is always a small minority for whom there is always an opportunity, for whom there is always an advantage, and for whom there is always an opportunity. huge profits,” the Secretary General of the PKP stressed.
