The fire broke out this Friday in a bush area in Vale dos Prazeres, in Fundau. The alarm was received around 12:00.
The fire was reportedly contained around 21:30.
The fire threatened homes and several villages, and resulted in the closure of the Beira Baixa and EN18 rail lines, which have since reopened.
At 22:45, 332 firefighters were involved in the theater with the support of 102 pieces of equipment. At least 11 aircraft were used to fight the fire.
