An ambulance transporting non-urgent patients from the Vila Praia de Ancora Volunteer Fire Station, Caminha, was stolen early Tuesday night.
The car was in front of the barracks. The corporation noticed the theft in social networks and called on the population to cooperate.
TO morning PostCorporation commander Daniel Araujo explained that the theft happened “in a fraction of seconds” because the driver had just reached the center, and when she returned, the ambulance had already been stolen. The non-urgent patient transport vehicle was intended to be used in the hemodialysis service. The case was referred to the GNR.
A few hours later, the car was found in the area between Monsao and Arcos de Valdeves.
