Singer Monica Sintra is on holiday in Morocco and was surprised by an earthquake measuring 6.9 on the Richter scale. On Friday evening, the epicenter was located about 65 kilometers southwest of Marrakesh.
The artist said that the guests of the hotel where she was staying went outside, although the infrastructure was not damaged.
“Everything is fine. We are all at the meeting point at the hotel waiting to see if there will be a third cue or not. Duarte [filho da cantora] he’s scared,” the artist said early this Saturday morning.
“We’ll stay here. It will be an open-air night,” he added.
According to IPMA, the earthquake occurred at 23:11 this Friday at a depth of 10 kilometers.
