The Ministry of State (MP) received from private individuals a criminal complaint against Ricardo Araújo Pereira and the SIC for a dispute with President Marcelo, published last Sunday as part of the program “Isto é Gozar com Quem Trabalha”, as reported by “Nascer do SUN”. .
The weekly reproduces part of the complaint submitted to the deputy, and explains that the applicants believe that this is a practice of “crimes against the honor of the President of the Republic” and “outrage of national and regional symbols.” “All this using imitation of voice and posture, use of real images of the target, photomontage, manipulation of portraits and real images, superimposition of inappropriate and obscene props, collage with authentic images of armed forces soldiers on parade and salute (…) in the context of national ceremonies, national symbols and insignia,” explains the complaint filed by an anonymous citizen who says he is “shocked” by what he saw and heard in Ricardo Araujo Pereira’s comedy program.
We are talking about phrases in which the comedian calls the President of the Republic “he is a justice of the peace” or “Marcelo Rebarbado de Souza.”
The ministry is now set to launch an investigation that will begin investigating humorous content.
